Stokely Disc Golf Method is seeking dedicated and skilled Golf Teachers and interested individuals to provide personalized golf instruction to players of various skill levels. As a Stokely Method Certified Disc Golf Teacher, you will work one-on-one with clients to develop and enhance their disc golfing abilities, focusing on throwing technique, form mechanics, and overall performance. Your expertise and passion for the game will inspire and motivate clients to achieve their goals, whether they are beginners looking to learn the fundamentals or experienced players aiming to refine their skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized golf instruction tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.
- Assess the skill level of clients and apply Stokely Disc Golf Method training plans to improve their disc golfing abilities.
- Teach clients proper throwing techniques, including grip, stance, form mechanics, and putting.
- Utilize video analysis and other teaching aids to enhance clients’ understanding of their throw and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a supportive and positive learning environment to motivate clients and build their confidence.
- Monitor and track clients’ progress.
- Provide feedback and constructive criticism to clients to help them refine their skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Stokely Method training and advancements in disc golf instruction techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a professional and punctual schedule, ensuring on-time arrival and preparedness for each lesson.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during training sessions to prevent injuries.
- Assist clients in setting realistic and achievable goals, and provide guidance to help them reach those goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, concerns, and scheduling matters.
- Collaborate with other Stokely Method Certified Teachers and Coaches, as needed, to exchange knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
- Desire to become a Golf Instructor or Coach.
- Knowledge of disc golf rules and etiquette.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate instructional skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport and motivate clients.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching to individuals of all skill levels.
- Professionalism and punctuality in all aspects of the job.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate clients’ schedules.
- A valid driver’s license or access to transportation to travel to various golf courses or training facilities.
