Disc Golf Tourist Destinations + Intensive Training
These multi-day training events are “Stokely Method Seminars on Steroids” which are held in different tourist destinations around the world. The Stokley brand merges Scott’s passion for adventure travels with his legendary teaching and way of living Disc Golf as a lifestyle. Stokely Method Training Retreats vary in length as each location offers a variety of exciting excursions and course options.
Every retreat will include all the Disc Golf training time and skills offered in Stokely Method Seminars as well as, daily rounds of Disc Golf where Scott will also teach strategy, disc selection, wind play and other “on the course” lessons. Every training retreat contains the same material, however longer retreats will offer more one-on-one and fine tuning of skills.
Making the training retreats different is that not only will be daily rounds of disc golf with lessons, there will also be adventures to the things that make the location unique. Also during these curated training retreats, there will be built in time for socializing and spending meal times with Scott Stokely to partake in his endless supply of stories from his 46 year history in the Sport as well as deep, philosophical discussions on the mental game of Disc Golf (and maybe even detours into finding health and happiness in life).
These Training Retreats will take a larger investment in time and money but also represent the pinnacle of disc golf instruction in our Sport. These experiences are intended for adult travelers and are suitable for couples or a group of friends. Training Retreats are limited to four players to ensure every participant is getting the personalized attention they need to elevate their game.
Airfare and accommodations are not included.
If you want to bring a non-playing spouse, let us know and we will arrange a guide to ensure there are plenty of alternate activities for them to do while you focus on your disc golf training and rounds. Traveling partners are also encouraged to join the non-disc golf adventures (additional fees may apply). Because these activities involve a shared travel van and meals, we cannot accommodate persons under the age of 18 at this time.
